About Us
Brad Miller, President and Senior Engineering Technician, is DFW Structural Consulting's project manager responsible for the design of building systems and construction programs. He is also responsible for the supervision and production of construction documents, bid specifications, and administration of the construction contract. In addition to these design and construction related responsibilities, he is in charge of running the day to day operations of the business practice. He has 33 years of experience in structural design, investigation, documentation, restoration, and building project management. Educated in management curricula at the University of Texas at Austin, he has earned an associate degree in design from Eastfield Junior College, and a B.S. degree in Management from Amber University. Brad has had the fortunate opportunity to study and practice engineering along side prominent Dallas engineers such as Charles F. Terry, P.E., Frank B. Reedy, P.E., AIA, Dr. Michael T. Elman Ph.D., P.E., and Dr. Alfredo Cervantes, Ph.D, P,.E.,
Alfredo Cervantes, Ph.D., P.E., is DFW's chief engineer and holds professional engineering registrations in Texas, North Carolina, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Kansas, Mississippi, Florida, Georgia, and the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES). He is proficient in the use of engineering software such as RISA 3D, STAAD PRO, RAM STRUCTURAL, ANSYS, ENERCALC, and L-PILE. Alfredo is also proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Microstation software.
He holds his B.S. in civil engineering from Universidad Autonoma de Ciudad Juares, a M.S. in structural engineering from the University of Texas at El Paso, and a Ph.D. in structural engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder. Alfredo brings to DFW a broad range of experience in various types and styles of building systems and material compositions. He has over 25 years of engineering practice and was also a full time professor of engineering while at Universidad Sutomoma de Ciudad Juarez. Following this professorship, he was a part time engineering instructor at the University of Colorado at Denver.
Alfredo has valuable experience from previous employment at notable firms such as Metropolitian Infrastructure, TRC Worldwide Engineering, Inc., Strand Systems Engineering, Inc., Alpha-C Engineering, LLC, Lopez-Garcia Group and Carter & Burgess. We are proud to have Alfredo as part of the DFW team.

Judy S. Miller is DFW Structural Consulting's office manager and director of accounting. She has over 30 years in a variety of office management duties and accounting systems analysis. Judy is also responisble for the production of project contracts and verifying that insurance requirements are met. In addition to her management and accounting skills, Judy is proficient in AutoCAD drafting.
